Hello everyone,
Today we have one of those lengthy but super exciting project updates! For your convenience, here's a summary of the important news!
Misunderstanding with book credits (those are from the first campaign not this).
Those bullets basically cover everything but you will find more detail AND PICTURES by scrolling down on this update!
About book credits
There seems to be a misunderstanding regarding backers from this campaign expecting to see their name in the book.
The book was created in 2019 by Jetpack7 in a different Kickstarter campaign. It features the name from the 2485 backers in that campaign, not this one.
This project, and the 3D models included, are all based in that beautiful book by Jetpack7. With your support on this campaign, we were able to sculpt the 3D models, but the book already existed.
However, we kept thinking about this and we intend to include backers' credit for this campaign in the project website for Legendary Dragons in LAIR platform. We are very thankful for your support.
While we always tried to be very clear about this project being ONLY for the 3D models, we are very sorry for the misunderstanding.
On a related note, feel free to join to Jetpack7 Discord server to discuss more about the content in Legendary Dragons book, their lore, stats, questions and anything else you want to talk about.
Feth'Razaal model complete and uploaded

You can now go to your DriveThruRPG library and find Feth'Razaal included! As opposed from the rest of the models, this dragon was created thanks to your support in this campaign! Jetpack7 commissioned and directed the art and they are still developing Fury's RPG mini adventure! We are very excited to hear your stories and see pictures for this one.
Please note that this was just uploaded today so there may be some issues with the sculpt, if you find any, please let us know and we will fix it asap.
Dragonbond alpha STL units pack fulfilled
As part of the all-digital reward tier and loyalty reward for returning backers in the $25 pledge level, we offered these 9 alpha models that were created in an early exploration stage for Dragonbond: Battles of Valerna. These are unreleased models but still, they are very cool.
We are having the last revisions for some of the models to thicken some pieces but they are looking awesome already! And as you may remember, we are including one more model in this pack (the alternate female elf captain).
Remember this pack will be fulfilled in September once the full pack (with airship model and RPG supplement) is finished. Only for backers who took this add-on in Backerkit (or the airship model only for backers in all-in tiers from Skies of Sordane).
Fulfillment notes
All files have been fulfilled already via DriveThruRPG in the past for backers who answered their surveys before the deadline (August 3rd). Backers who completed their survey between August 3rd and August 16th (past two weeks) should have received their download codes earlier today for STL files and your PDF files soon.
We are now using DriveThruRPG changelog feature to mark every new change. We are very sorry about not using it before!! If you access to your library (and refresh) in DriveThruRPG you should be able to find the latest files separated by model so the amount of Network issues are reduced with large downloads. Details for future changes will be notified in this changelog. (We can't edit past uploads).
Please note that if you haven't answered your survey yet, your rewards will be sent in the third and final digital fulfillment date on lateSeptember. We will let you know in advance.

Our dev team has expanded. We took the difficult decision of coding again many features of the code (in the backend) that were not working as desired. We expect to have the digital fulfillment feature ready by mid September and the connection with 3D printing services around early November. Thank you all for your patience. We decided to fulfill using DriveThruRPG and to use Backerkit as pledge manager so none of this could delay most rewards. Our live Kickstarter for Dragonbond: Battles of Valerna (fully 3D printable wargame based in the same universe as Dragons of the Red Moon) has less than 3 days left.
These highly detailed sculpts are based on unique designs created by experienced artists (Wizards of the Coast, Blizzard Entertainment, etc) and are part of an exciting fantasy setting where dragons take a central role as both, antagonists and protagonists along with their dragonbonded (which is your general in the game).
As a free unlock, we are including now Dragonriding Generals (in progress) as part of the armies STL packs.

Today we received news from our friends at Jetpack7. Originally we planned this pack to include the Airship, 4 characters (captain + crew) and the RPG supplement, but the Dragon Hunting pack just got better!
In addition to Ryndon, the male dwarf dragon hunting captain, Jetpack7 created a female elf dragon hunting captain. Now you will receive a 5th character model. Meet Bellanus!

As mentioned during the previous update, we will include the War Drake model to the Legendary Dragons STL bundle if we are able to get x1000 returning backers from this project to Dragonbond: Battles of Valerna this could be considered as a last stretch goal for Legendary Dragons and social goal for Dragonbond!
While a $25 USD pledge grants you access to more than 25 unique models, the $45 pledge includes both armies plus terrain!

2. Next, CLARIFICATIONS:
About the art prints logo: The physical art prints do not include the Legendary Dragons logo. The logo on the preview exists so it is watermarked online.
DefaultShipping fees: Since this is a campaign mostly for digital rewards, your country is not required in the beginning. Because of this, shipping fees might display "Rest of the World" fees for some of you, by default, which are higher than for US, CA, AU/NZ and EU. You can try to select a physical add-on and when prompted to choose your shipping address review the updated (lower) shipping fee.
If you wish to review your survey or include more add-ons, you still can but only for a couple of days more!
3. And before going with the exciting news, let's talk about the LEGENDARY DRAGONS STL files
We are incredibly happy seeing your 3D prints and reading your praise for the models!
Download codes: For backers in the $25 reward tier and above, files for Legendary Dragons and Dragons of the Red Moon have been fulfilled via DriveThruRPG already. If you didn't receive a download code via email, please reply to this email to [email protected] with the subject "Missing LD files".
Issues downloading the files: Some backers had issues downloading the different folders. Because of this, yesterday we re-uploaded everything hoping it would reboot (some backers report it worked! But it might also have been an error in DriveThruRPG).
Error hunting: We are still hunting errors on some models, currently we are working on Kiennavalyriss, Drake of Displacement and some more that will be uploaded soon. Let us know if you still find more issues. Thanks for all your help!!
Files on LAIR: All backers will get access to their files on LAIR once it is operational.
Pre-supported files: While they were not offered as part of this campaign, we have that task in queue and will let you know when they are ready in a couple of months.
Angel (UI/UX Designer for LAIR and 3D operator) has prepared a special video for all of you who want to print your files already and learn how to include supports. It is easier than you think! Although it takes a little bit of practice and experience (trial and error) to master it.
Hopefully, with that video we will see even more pictures of your prints! :D
Onwards to the exciting news!
Meet the Dragon Hunting crew art! Commissioned by Jetpack7 so we can sculpt an accurate representation of their vision with Dragon Hunting characters. These 3, along with the Dwarf Dragon Hunting captain in the book, will be part of the STL for the Dragon Hunting Pack!
During the campaign we unlocked all Legendary Dragons and more models based in the art for the book. Many of you asked us to create a 3D model for the War Drake, so we heard and we have started sculpting it!
The best part is that this will be included for FREE to the Legendary Dragons STL bundle if we are able to reach a social goal!

We have launched a new Kickstarter project in collaboration of our parent company, Draco Studios. Many of you are already there. We want to see if we are able to get x1000 returning backers in the new project:
This is a new fully 3D printable Wargame on which Draco Studios have been working for over a year. Not only that, a lot of talented people in the industry have helped to make this universe and game even better. From veteran artists who regularly create art for WotC such as Tom Babbey, Steve Prescott, Scott Murphy, Bruce Breneisse... to renowned game designers like Alessio Cavatore from River Horse.
One of the most appealing aspects is that you can find the models for Ferellon Fulgen and Nagasha Magnifex which are the offspring from Aureus Fulgen and Sivax Magnifex (from Dragons of the Red Moon).
There are sooo many cool highlights about the game design such as the Dice upgrade system, the units modularity with captains, generals and dragons with archetypes or being dragonbonded, even dragonriding!
And currently, you get 25 different models + extras in a single army for $25, or over 50 plus terrain and extras for both armies at $39! (Early bird: 20 hours left!)

Backerkit surveys will be sent today. Please refer to this update if you have any questions or contact [email protected] if you need further help.
Please review thoroughly this update. For your convenience, we have structured this update with titles, subtitles and some phrases in bold so you can find easily what you are looking for.
IF YOU ARE ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH BACKERKITAND ALL THE ADD-ONS, SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE UPDATE. (Stop when you see the pictures of a blue Vanadon-Necroth print).
Pledge Manager surveys
As we mentioned in the past update, we are using Backerkit as our pledge manager so the project keeps making progress. For now, this is the place where you will be able to include add-ons (such as the Dragon Hunting pack or Epic Encounters and many more), let us know if you are interested in a commercial license, if you require 3D printing services so we can follow up, and let us know your physical mailing address and pay for shipping fees in case you are expecting any physical rewards.
Our platform LAIR will still be released, not as the pledge manager (Backerkit will be the sole pledge manager for this campaign) but you all will still get access to the same files we have distributed via DriveThruRPG and store them in LAIR. On a related note, the last wave of models is coming out during the weekend.
A smoke test was sent yesterday to 5% of the backers from each reward tier. There were no support tickets raised so we are proceeding by sending the other 95% of the surveys today via e-mail. While we set up Backerkit very carefully, it is still possible that you notice something odd, so feel free to send an email to [email protected] for support.
This is how the email looks like:
If you don't receive your survey in 12 hours from now, please resolve the following steps:
1) Make sure you are searching on the proper e-mail linked to your Kickstarter account (or Facebook account if logging in via Facebook).
2) Check your SPAMfolder or the "Promotions"/"Social" tabs if using Gmail.
4) At this point, you should be able to access your survey but if you still don't, write to [email protected] with the subject "Missing LD survey" and including your e-mail address and Kickstarter username. We will reply to that mail with the proper link to your survey.
Important dates
It is very important that you answer your survey as soon as possible. Specially if you are expecting physical rewards. The window to answer your survey is very small but since you all have also been expecting this survey for a couple of months, we know you are eager to fill it.
Survey deadline – July 31st
Please fill your survey as soon as you receive it so we can plan accordingly.
Lock orders – August 1st
At this point, you will only be able to modify your mailing address but not the content of your order.
Charge cards – August 3rd
By default, Backerkit does not charge your credit or debit card instantly after completing your survey.
Lock addresses – August 24th (For backers expecting physical rewards)
Shipping date – August 31st
Fulfillment hubs will start sending physical rewards at this point.
Answering your survey (Step by step)
Backerkit has an extremely user-friendly interface and many of you might be already familiar with it, but in case you don't, review the next steps.
After locating the email with your personal survey link, click on the button to access to your survey.
1.Confirm or change your reward tier and country.
If you wish to change your pledge level, you can do so here – below the green "Get Started!" button, select on "switch your pledge level".
If you are expecting physical rewards already (All-in reward tiers) you will be asked to confirm your country.
Local Pickup: if you are in Mexico City or Guadalajara, you can save shipping and select "Local pickup" instead of choosing your country. Please note that shipping for local pickup is a flat $8 USD to cover importation of products by Jetpack7 in the US to our offices in Mexico.
2. Answer some questions (Varies depending according to your pledge level)
a) Loyaltyrewards and newsletter: We offer loyalty rewards for returning backers, that's why we ask if you would like to subscribe to our newsletter. (Let us know if we can send you emails with new releases).
Returning backers: As promised, backers from Legendary Dragons campaign by Jetpack7 or from Dragons of the Red Moon by Draco Studios should already see the item "STL Dragonbond Beta Units" in their item list as part of their loyalty reward.
b) As you know, on LAIR we want to connect people who is looking for painting or 3D printing services, with users who can offer them. Many backers have already pre-registered but we set up a couple of questions for the services you are interested in offering/requesting so we can follow up closely once LAIR is up and running.
c) Choose if you will be using the files for personal use ora commercial license to sell physical 3D prints.
Merchants with commercial license: We will follow up soon with you to incorporate your business to our Store Locator, connect with LAIR, and directing more customers to you. As soon as you finish your survey, you can start selling 3D prints (no molds are allowed, files should not be distributed). Note that commercial licenses at this moment are valid for 1-year expiring on August 1st 2021. Once we release LAIR and set up your account, you will find more options for commercial license. A commercial license is needed for Legendary Dragons (+ upcoming Dragon Hunting Pack) and another one for Dragons of the Red Moon since each is a separate product, but you get a discount for choosing both.
3. Include add-ons (optional buys)
The next section is one of the most exciting ones since you will be able to buy more items (add-ons), some of them limited or offered at a discount for you, our dear backers. The most popular ones are the Dragon Hunting Pack and the Epic Encounters for Dragons of the Red Moon.
At the right bar, you can review the items already included in your pledge (depending of your reward tier). Fury RPG mini adventure (PDF) is already included for tiers $25 and up.
Let's take a quick look at all add-ons:
First we have the items directly related to the the campaign. Some are part of reward tiers already but you may choose to get extra copies for you or a friend.
Dragon Hunting Pack: This is the most popular one (currently under development). This one includes 4 STL dragon hunting models (Captain and crew), RPG supplement by Jetpack7 expanding information about Dragon Hunting adventures, and a colossal Dragon Hunting Airship with interior play levels (sculpted by Arcane Minis). Backers from Skies of Sordane – All-in levels will get the Airship STL file directly from Benny & Arcane Minis so please select the discounted $12 option. Please note that expected fulfillment of this pack is late September as noted in the timeline from our campaign description.
Legendary Dragons 5e RPG Supplement: This book includes information, stats, full-color illustration, background and lair descriptions for the STL models from Legendary Dragons. PDF and Hardcover version are already included in some reward tiers. There's a limited Leather Cover variant (only visible for shipping in the US).
Dragons of the Red Moon STL: This STL pack includes 7 highly detailed dragon models, all with scenic bases, breath weapons, alternate battle scar parts, busts and variant head (open/closed mouth). You can get them for personal use or a commercial license to sell prints.
Dragons of the Red Moon: Epic Encounters PDF: In this book you will find stats and biographies for all 7 Dragons of the Red Moon along with full-color art for them, their Lairs, Maps and most importantly, rules for high-level encounters.
Dragonbond Beta Units STL: These models are exploration concepts prior to the upcoming Dragonbond: Battles of Valerna campaign.
Dragons of the Red Moon Full dice set: Includes d4, d6,d8, d10, d%, d12, d20 with the style of Dragons of the Red Moon. Turn on the Draconic mood for your RPG adventures with Dragons of the Red Moon or Legendary Dragons.
Legendary Dragons GM Screen: Another great addition for your draconic RPG adventures. Includes full color art for some of the Legendary Dragons and relevant info for the Game Master.
If you are looking for more files to print (whether for personal use or commercial license), Draco Studios has more original 3D models!
Eldritch Century: Includes several large monsters with medium-sized minions and more than 14 characters from the factions of this cosmic-horror pre-apocalyptic setting.
Dodos Riding Dinos: Includes goofy looking STL models only (not print and play PDF files) of 12+ characters plus a huge Dodosaurus egg-throne.
War for Chicken Island: Crazy chickens and their machines who go to war. Includes STL models only (not print and play PDF files) of 20+ characters including large Cluckthulhu and Yolk-Sothoth.
LegendaryDragons Art prints: Whether you want a print for reference to paint your prints or for decoration in your gaming room, Jetpack7 has prints for all dragons. You get an extra discount for bundles or all prints. Large prints and Posters are only available for shipping addresses within the US.
Gods and Godesses: Redux: The first book from Jetpack7 with expanded content. Available in PDF, Hardcover and Limited Leather Cover (Leather cover is available for US only).
Masters and MinionsPDF: This book includes several complex characters and their minions. Created to save Game Masters many hours of planning campaigns.
4. Let us know yourmailing address
This screen is available only if you are expecting physical rewards. This is very important because it is the only way for us to know where to send your rewards.
You will stillbe able to update your shipping address until lateAugust before we start fulfillment. Just go back to your survey whenever you need to update it.
5.Submityour payment detailsto pay anybalance due (for shipping or extra add-ons).
Youwill not be charged after completing the survey;your card will be charged in August3rd.
Backerkit encrypts your payment info in a secure way which is not visible by us, them or anyone.

6.Place your order (VERY IMPORTANT)
If you miss to place your order, the system will not mark your survey as completed.
Your progress will be saved and you may return to complete or modify it later but the sooner you complete your survey, the better.

Thanks to you, error-hunting is going very well. We will upload the third and last waves of STL files this weekend along with some fixes to previous models. Let us know in our Discord server (or here) if you still find issues.
There's a weird issue with DriveThruRPG displaying network error while trying to download some of the ZIP folders. Some backers have reported that using the Dropbox button will work, others that re-trying to download several times eventually works. We will re-upload everything once we are done with error-hunting and also once LAIR is up and running. Thank you so much for your patience!
Dragonbond: Battles of Valerna coming soon
Last time we shared you one, teaser video from Draco Studios (our parent company) of the new Dragonbond release. Since it will be a 3D printable release, LAIR will be managing the campaign (and of course, you can expect a free loyalty reward for returning backers!).
But first, we are aiming to fulfilling the rewards from this campaign. That's what led us to set up the pledge manager using Backerkit and start fulfillment via DriveThruRPG. Expect the new models (including the Dragonbond Beta units offered in this campaign for some reward tiers, add-on and loyalty rewards) in the coming days.

We are extremely happy to see that many of you are already printing your Legendary Dragons! Please keep tagging us or Draco Studios in social media. Or join to our Discord channel to share more pictures or report issues with the models.
Thank you SO MUCH for helping us with error hunting! We are working on fixing these and we will be uploading the updated versions along with a text changelog on your DriveThruRPG pack.
Last Friday we updated the files. Youcan log in your DriveThruRPG account where your code was redeemed and find 2 additional zip files.
The one with Pack_1_fix on its name includes some updated versions of the Red Great Wyrm, Glitz and Kiennavalyriss. (Red Great Wyrm might have yet another update).
And the one named Legendary_Dragons_3D_Files_-_Pack_2.zip includes a new batch of models for you to start printing!!
Later this week we will upload the 3rd batch of models.
IMPORTANT: You do not need to search for a second e-mail or link from DriveThruRPG, these models were uploaded to your existing pack. Of course, if you did not receive an email from DriveThruRPG two weeks ago (check your SPAM, Promotions or other folders) you can contact Itzel at [email protected] and she will be able to help you get your link.

In addition to unlocking all dragons and content from Legendary Dragons 5e supplement, you also contributed to "create" a new one. Fury, the Queen of Hell appears in the book in her fiend form, but thanks to you, we will get the RPG mini adventure of Fury and the sculpt of her dragon from Feth'Razaal.
Last week, our friends from Jetpack7 shared with us the design for Feth'Razaal so we can start sculpting her and here it is!
With this last model, all core models from this Kickstarter will be finished! And all of them fulfilled 1 month early!!
This is the timeline in the Kickstarter campaign description. This week week we will be exactly at "3 months since the end of campaign". Which means that all STL files will be fulfilled early!

Our dev team is still having issues with deployment of our platform LAIR. But we do not want that to be a reason to delay fulfillment. We take your trust VERY seriously, because none of this would be possible without you. So just as we decided to fulfill with DriveThruRPG, we have now decided to move on and use Backerkitasthe pledge manager.
Thanks to our parent company, Draco Studios, we were able to set up the Backerkit very fast over the weekend. A smoke test will be sent soon. We will post a detailed update to explain what can you expect with Backerkit, if you are not familiar with it, don't worry, it is very user-friendly.
With that, we will be able to proceed with the rest of the rewards and the promises we made to you.
It is important to note that we will still work on releasing our platform LAIR with all the functionalities we have dreamt about for a dedicated tabletop 3D printing platform and community.
But our priority is fulfilling all your Kickstarter rewards for this project and with the least possible delays.
Our next project Dragonbond: Battles of Valerna
We hope you remember the STL files we offered in this campaign about Dragonbond (which will also be fulfilled very soon). Those were the Beta Unreleased models for the exploration phase of Dragonbond, one of the main creations from Draco Studios, our parent company. Those models have some of the concepts from the lore, but the designs were made before veteran artists in the industry such as Tom Babbey, Steve Prescott, Scott Murphy, and Bruce Brenneise re-invented them. If you play Magic: the Gathering or Dungeons & Dragons, you surely have seen their amazing talent.
In 7 days from now, we will start a new adventure on Kickstarter with the first release of Dragonbond: Battles of Valerna. A full 3D printable wargame with game consultancy by Alessio Cavatore from River Horse, who has helped us shape the mechanics.
And of course, with beautiful and very detailed models by all the sculptors who collaborated in Legendary Dragons and directed by the same Creative Director. Draco Studios has released the first teaser video, enjoy:
We would love to count with your support, it will be great to see you join us on this new adventure. We are convinced that now that all sculpting work for the core rewards is done and with the pledge manager set up already, we are ready for a new challenge!
By the time Dragonbond launches, we will already have sent the rest of the Legendary Dragons models; and while Dragonbond campaign is live, we will be completing fulfillment for all digital rewards and in the process to start physicial fulfillment.
Last test prints
And finally, to finish this very exciting and beautiful update, we want to show you the last 50mm-tall test prints for the remaining models. These were printed in an Elegoo Mars and scaled down and it is the first approach for error hunting. But with all your help printing on different models, sizes, materials and using different software we will still be upgrading and updating the models until they all are perfect!
