New to Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a platform where ideas from creators come to life thanks to the support of passionate backers. Choose a pledge level with the rewards you are interested in and complete the process. You will not be charged until the campaign ends and only if it reaches its funding goal. After the campaign, you will see the project development and will get the rewards as soon as they are finished (which may take a couple of months). This is kind of a pre-order where you can be involved in the creation of the project and get extra content for your upfront support! Join other backers who are passionate about this project and start the conversation! Keep in mind that Kickstarter is not an online store. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments.

We have you covered! The makers community (3D printing) is one of the most supportive groups. We, and other fellow backers can help you answer your questions and there are plenty of sites, blogs and Facebook groups where you can ask and solve your questions. In Lair, we will be offering videos to shorten the learning curve!

Are the dragons going to be broken down into keyed pieces that can be printed in small printers?
Yes, you will receive two versions: a solid version of the dragons but ALSO a keyed split version.

Are these pre-supported files?
We are still considering if we can make this happen. At this moment we are considering adding a feature in our platform LAIR which will allow users to upload variants with support for particular bed sizes or printer models since there’s not a single configuration that matches all printing needs.

Are statblocks for the dragons included?
All Legendary Dragons by Jetpack7 include their statblocks in the book (hard cover and PDF) including lore, campaign hooks and more. For Dragons of the Red Moon you will find an additional add-on item in the pledge manager called Epic Encounters which includes statblocks for 5e, 9th Age and rules for a high-level battle against each of them.

What printer do you recommend?
Today, you can get very good 3D printers starting at ~$200 USD. The ones we recommend the most are Ender Pro, Anycubic Photon, and Elegoo Mars. If you have a larger budget FormLabs printers or Prusa i3 mk3s are great options too! Whichever printer you choose or have, we are sure you can get nice 3D prints with the proper configuration. Try Meshmixer (Freeware) to customize files to your printing needs.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
